I have travelled extensively in Malaysia, Thailand, Bali, India, Peru, USA, Canada, The Caribbean, The Middle East, Singapore, Hong Kong, Zambia, Botswana and many countries throughout Europe – France, Spain, Belgium, Italy and specifically Portugal. I have an in-depth knowledge of New Zealand and have visited places such as Moscow, St Petersburg, Estonia, Copenhagen, Holland, Prague, Germany and many more.

We have access to some incredible people/companies in travel who have tremendous knowledge of destinations around the world, so even if we have not visited a specific place ourselves, we know an expert in that area. For example, we have access to an amazing India specialist whose knowledge of the whole of India and contacts throughout India are literally unsurpassed.”

My position at TF Travel enables me to help make people’s dreams become a reality!

I have been an independent travel agent at TF Travel Ltd since leaving school in 1999, immersing myself in the ever-changing world of travel.

Over the years, I have had the incredible opportunity to explore numerous countries, including Turkey, Greek islands, the Canary Islands, Portugal, Croatia, Italy, Spain, and the south of France. I’ve also ventured further to the USA, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, Bali, Dubai, the Caribbean, and Mauritius.

My expertise lies in business travel, where I excel at creating complex worldwide routines. I am also the inhouse TF cruise specialist, enabling me to curate unforgettable experiences on the open seas.

In addition to my role as a travel agent, I take charge of the company’s accounts administration and meticulously organise all of TF Travel’s computers, reservation systems, and back office technology. I ensure that everything runs smoothly and to the highest standard, so we can continue to make dreams become a reality for our clients.

The “old man” of TF Travel

“I am proud to be celebrating fifty years in the travel industry in 2019, and I am a retired Fellow of the Institute of Travel & Tourism.

After working during the 1970’s in various agencies, and with a Birmingham based tour operator, I set up TF Travel in 1986 with the aim to side-step the mass market, in order to offer my experience and provide a service based on that of a more personal travel consultancy.

Over the years I have gained extensive personal knowledge of endless holiday destinations in the Mediterranean area and beyond, as well as many of those scenic Alpine areas of Austria, Switzerland and the Italian Lakes. In addition to these areas, I have visited several of the world’s capital cities, have experience of the U.A.E., the Far East, Australia, South Africa, and has extensive familiarity with the United States and Canada.

I am also proud to boast that I have accumulated many loyal clients over the past decades, and now I have the privilege of arranging travel for the children and even the grandchildren of some of my older clients.

Although nowadays I’m semi-retired, and living in Ontario, Canada, I am still actively involved with TF Travel Ltd and often use my guidance to assist, and although I still dedicate a lot of my time to my long standing loyal clients, I am always happy to welcome new ones.”
